Currently, there are 6672 electric cars in Poland and their drivers have 888 charging stations at their disposal. These numbers are provided by the electromobility meter of the Polish Alternative Fuels Association. This is not much but also a lot if we consider the huge increase in interest in this segment of the automotive market. The number of electric car registrations in 2019 in Poland increased by 89% compared to the same period (January to August) of last year. ⅔ Polish electric cars are BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle), i.e. fully electric vehicles, while ⅓ are plug-in hybrids - PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle).
